Tsuru Reef naval warfare tips: boats, beaches, and which stats to watch
Practical Tsuru Reef advice for Battlefield 6 Season 4 — RCB-90 vs RHIB, beach landings, air denial, and how BattleStats vehicle and map tables show if naval play is working.
By BattleStats

Tsuru Reef is not “Conquest with palm trees.” Open water, cliffs, and resort interiors create three different games in one round. This guide is for players who want better outcomes — and for pages ranking on “Tsuru Reef tips,” “BF6 naval warfare,” and “RCB-90.”
Boats pushing a Tsuru Reef beach
Read the map in layers
- Blue water — boat lanes, RHIB flanks, RCB gun arcs
- Beaches and piers — highest TTK chaos; gadgets matter
- Interior / cliffs — classic infantry; naval value drops
If your deaths cluster on the wet sand, you are winning the voyage and losing the landing.
Island combat with air support over Tsuru Reef
Boat choice: RCB-90 vs RHIB
| RCB-90 | 7.7m NSW RHIB | |
|---|---|---|
| Job | Shore control, vehicle denial | Fast insert / extract |
| Survivability | Higher (still vulnerable to air) | Low |
| Crew | Driver + dedicated gunner | Four seats, MG |
| Mistake | Sitting still as a mortar magnet | Overloading into a defended pier |
Community feedback already flagged RCB stability and scout-heli vulnerability; expect tuning across the season. Until then, never boat without an air plan.
Infantry landing checklist
- Smoke or distraction before the ramp drop
- Split: one player holds pier angles, others push interior
- Bring anti-vehicle for the inevitable armor or boat that follows you in
- Revive loops in water are officially supported — use them
Air and AA on a naval map
Long sightlines over water punish uncontested littlebirds and jets. If your vehicle table shows air kills climbing while map win rate falls, you may be farming air and ignoring objectives.
Carrier and jets over the Pacific theater
Stats workflow after a Tsuru session
On BattleStats:
- Open maps → Tsuru Reef win rate vs playtime
- Open vehicles → RCB / RHIB / air time and kills
- Open weapons → did beach CQC guns outpace your mid-range AR?
- Compare to a pure land map the same week
Naval hours dilute infantry K/D. Judge the map on wins and objective impact, not vanity K/D alone.
Coming soon on this theater
- Wake Island (August 18) — another shoreline classic
- Tsuru expansion with playable carriers mid-season
- Top Gun modes that pull pilots off the reef
Prep air and boat comfort now so August events feel like an extension, not a reset.
